Pick up from Kampala /Entebbe After breakfast at 6:30 am and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Fort Portal. Enjoy the views of Mubende inselbergs, lush Tea estates, Fort Portal town where you will have lunch, and the famous Rwenzori Mountains – with snow peaks. Enjoy an evening game drive in the Kasenyi sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park upon arrival before proceeding to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Undertake a game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park’s Kasenyi sector starting at 7 am looking out for Lions, Spotted Hyena, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo, Defassa water-buck, Topis, Uganda kobs among others. Queen Elizabeth National Park is also home to 600 bird species some of which you can explore on this trip. The game drive lasts 3 – 4 hours. In the afternoon, engage in the Kazinga Channel boat safari departing at 2 pm from Mweya. The cruise along the 45km long Kazinga channel lasts for 2 hours offers good views of Lake Edward, aquatics like Nile crocodiles, Hippos, water birds like Cormorants, African skimmers, a range of storks among others. The wild game tends to come to drink water from the channel and are amazing to explore. Upon return, drive through the Katwe explosion crater with a series of lakes for amazing scenic views en route to the lodge.

Settle for breakfast, after which you transfer to Lake Mburo National Park180km about 3 – 4 hours’ drive excluding stops en route. You enjoy the views of lush Kalinzu Forest, the Bunyaruguru crater field, the tea estates of Igara before settling for lunch at Igongo Cultural Center. You are at liberty to participate in optional tour to Erijukiro Museum with artifacts of all tribes of southwestern Uganda and the 1520AD Eclipse monument that symbolize the total solar eclipse that occurred during that time. Proceed to the park for an afternoon game drive upon arrival enjoying the views of the acacia dotted Savannah at the sunset with likely sights of a range of wild game.

Lake Mburo National Park – Uganda’s smallest Savannah park presents an exciting game walking safari in its moist Savannah landscapes. The walk covers interesting sections of the park and offers an opportunity to view wild game on foot which gives a chance to get close to wildlife compared to if traveling in a vehicle. This activity presents more possibilities of citing Impala, Burchell’s Zebra, Rothschild giraffes, Topis, Warthogs, water-bucks, bush-bucks, Cape Buffaloes, Klipspringer, Elands among others. From the activity, transfer back to Kampala / Entebbe.
