Day 1 of 4 Days wildlife safari to Rwanda and Uganda After having a short briefing by your safari guide, you will set off for Lake Mburo National Park (the drive will approximately take 3-4 hours). You will have a stop over to stand at the Equator for a photographic opportunity and also listen to some few interesting facts and look at the Royal Drum makers. We will proceed to Lake Mburo National Park. This Park is an extension of the Tanzanian plains with big herds of impala, eland, ungulates and zebra. Bird viewing opportunities are perfect – for birders, this is one of the best places to find, papyrus bush shrike and African fin foot. You will take a late afternoon game drive or a dug out canoe, After checking in. Overnight in Mantana Tented Camp/ UWA Bandas (FB)

Day 2 of 4 Days wildlife safari to Rwanda and Uganda An early start – a wonderful chance to take a guided nature walk. This walk takes you to the Salt Lick Area. A strategically situated wooden platform (Observation point) offers a chance to see at least four different species of animals at any one point while they lick the salty soil. After returning to the camp for breakfast, we will head through the highlands to Kabale, where we will stop for lunch. Proceed on your journey and make brief stops at places of interests like Kanaba Gap to view the beautiful terraced hills and dramatic Virunga Volcanoes. Overnight at Kisoro Tourist Hotel/ Nkuringo Safari Lodge (FB)

Day 3 Up relatively early for a hearty breakfast to give you the energy needed for gorilla tracking in Nkuringo. Report to the ranger station for registration before 8:00 am and talk to one of the rangers; Then the guides will take you through the forest pushing your way through the undergrowth, parting thick creepers so as to track the gorillas. (The trek can take a period from half an hour to 5 hours – fitness is required at a reasonable degree as well as a sturdy pair of walking shoes). You will sit in the forest among the gorillas, listening to them grumble to each other, and marvel at the sheer size of the dominant male; the silverback. It is an extraordinary feeling sitting in the dense rainforest knowing you are with a few of the last remaining mountain gorillas. It is so amazing to think there are only about 650 of these beautiful creatures left! If you have the afternoon free, how about a guided village walk – see how the Ugandans live! Overnight at Kisoro Tourist Hotel/ Nkuringo Safari Lodge (FB)
