Uganda is officially known as the Republic of Uganda found in East Africa. It is bordered by countries such as Kenya in the East, DRC in the west, Tanzania in the south and South Sudan in the North.

Uganda is a landlocked country and its capital city is Kampala. Uganda borders portion of Lake Victoria and also lies in the Nile Basin.

Uganda lies in latitudes 4 degrees North and 2 degrees South then longitudes 29 degrees west and 35 degrees east.

The population of Uganda is over 30 million and the common languages spoken are luganda and English.There different religions such as Roman Catholic 33%, Protestant 33%, Muslim 16%, indigenous beliefs 18%.

Uganda is divided into different districts that are Kampala, wakiso, mpigi, mukono and so many others. Uganda has four administrative divisions such as Northern, Eastern, Western and Central.

There different districts in Uganda including Buganda, Busoga, Bugishu, Bunyoro, Bunyankole, Bukiga and so many others. Currently Uganda is led by president known as President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni

Uganda has 60 protected areas including the 10 National Parks that is Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Kibale Forest National Park, Lake Mburo National Park, Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, Mt Elgon National Park, Semuliki National Park, Murchison Falls National Park, Rwenzori Mountains National Park and Kidepo Valley National Park. Uganda has some other reserves that always attract tourists to come and enjoy safaris in Uganda.

Uganda offers tourists on their Uganda safaris different activities such as gorilla tracking, chimpanzee trekking, Boat cruise, game drives, water rafting, and mountain biking and tourists visit places like the Uganda Museum, different markets in Uganda, different cultural centers in Uganda, River Nile, Bahai Temple, Namirembe Cathedral, Gadhafi Mosque and so many different attraction places that give memorial safaris in Uganda.
