The tourism marketing programme which has been launched in Rwanda is mainly aimed at promoting the collaboration among the countries of East African community. Rwanda development Board has launched this programme in order to encourage the marketing of the tourism sector to the outside world which will help in increasing safaris to Rwanda.
This marketing strategy will help in promoting the tourism sector in Rwanda. This will help in attracting more tourists to come for safari tours to Rwanda. This inauguration concides with the introduction of the east African single joint Visa which will help in easing the movement of tourists who come for tours in East Africa.
This marketing program will help in engaging social media in the campaign for regional travelers and also the special events and partnership opportunities for the tour agents and the journalists who spread the information about Rwanda as a tourist destination. This has helped in the attraction of more tourists to come and enjoy safaris in Rwanda.
The campaign will also help in building on board the recognition of Rwanda as atop tourism destination. The country has got many attractions which can be enjoyed by the tourists, and these include; the mountain gorillas which are found in volcanoes national park, the chimpanzees, the culture of tourism , wildlife in the national park, bird species, the city tours with in the country and many more. All these have helped in attracting more safari tours to Rwanda.
