The 3 (three) days Uganda Gorilla Safari tour to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Uganda is offered by Prime Uganda Safaris, a local tour operator and starts from Uganda’s capital, Kampala, cruising along 461km, almost 8 and ahalf hours to Bwindi Impenetrable National park, passing through Mbarara – Ntungamo – Rukungiri – Kihihi – and finally to Buhoma, which is in the Northern section of Bwindi.

The very first day of your Uganda Gorilla Safari will be basically spent on the road from Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. It will begin with an early morning breakfast, and later, leave for briefing about the tracking at the park headquarters. Gorilla Tracking starts at 8:30 am and takes about 3 to 8 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla family allocated. On this day, it is advisable to carry along some mineral water with you as the gorilla tracking trip can be somehow challenging, but on the contrary, full of excitement. After the experience, have lunch at the lodge and relax at your lodge while enjoying the evening time, Having dinner and overnight at the same Lodge.
As for the third day, it will be basically transfer back to Kampala from Bwindi. After breakfast, on the third morning, you leave for Kampala, but this time, passing through Kigezi region and enjoying the beautiful scenery view of this small Switzerland of Africa, as it is called. Lunch will be en route in Mbarara, most probably Igongo Cultural Centre, and then be back on the road.
