From here you will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National park and check into your lodge.
You will track Gorillas twice in Bwindi, have community tours, and visit lake Bunyonyi communities by canoe boats to learn more about the cultures of Uganda and enjoy the best scenery in Africa.
Bwindi is known for the most biologically diverse areas on earth. Its rare, precious flora sustains roughly half of the world’s population of mountain gorillas.
Seeing some of the last remaining 700 mountain gorillas in the world is a fabulous experience. Bwindi has four habituated families whereby the gorillas there live in the thicker tropical forests so tracking is more challenging as the hillsides are steeper.
You will have a morning canoe ride on Lake Bunyonyi and interact with Bunyonyi communities the transfer to Lake Mburo National Park to see Hippopotamus, Giraffes, Zebra, Pangolin, Warthog, Hyena, Leopard, Buffalo, Civet, Genet, Topi, Eland, Klipspringer, Oribi, Sitatunga, Impala, crocodile Aardvark, Hyrax, and Porcupine.
You will see plenty of fresh water and about acacia Savannah bird species (357 bird species) like the crested crane, bronze-tailed starling, marabou stork, the rare shoe-bill stork, the bee-eaters, and more exotic birds, etc
We shall Set off from Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park after you have been briefed by our Adventure Trails safari guide/driver.
It’s an 8 hours drive to the park. Along the way you will find Mpambire Drum shop, the Equator plus the Lake Mburo Heritage Village, these places attract tourists due to their great scenery and tourist attractions.
You will have a traditional lunch at Igongo cultural center or an the equator then proceed to Bwindi.
Accommodation: Dinner and overnight at Buhoma Lodge/Gorilla Haven Lodge/Buhoma Community Camp Rwonyo camp or Mantana Tented Camp.
You will have a heavy morning breakfast and then head for a briefing at the park headquarters making you ready for gorilla trekking, the major tourist activity in the park with packed lunch alongside experienced guides and rangers.
This trek may be tiresome but enjoyable. Your encounter with the great apes (mountain gorillas) gives a great lasting memory of a perfect Africa gorilla trek.
You will also see the amazing forest Flora and Fauna then return to your hotel for lunch then later have a community walk.
Dinner and overnight at Buhoma Lodge/Gorilla Resort or Buhoma Community Bandas (Full Board).
After having, breakfast, you will go for the second gorilla trekking of the same group or another group, then after you drive to Lake Bunyonyi for community tours and a canoe ride.
After having morning breakfast you will go visit Lake Bunyonyi communities and after, proceed to Lake Mburo for game viewing which is the smallest National Park in Uganda.
The park has popularity for its wealth in biodiversity, estimated to have 68 different categories of mammals like Giraffes, Buffalo, Eland, leopard, Roan antelope, Hyenas and Impala, Jackals Topi, Roan antelope, leopard, Eland, Zebra.
You will have lunch at the Equator or Igongo Cultural Center then be driven back to Kampala stopping en-route for lunch arriving in the early evening.
