Pick up from Kampala at 7am after breakfast and drive to Lake Mburo National Park 240km about 3 – 4 hours’ drive.
Enjoy the views of en route landscapes and make a stop at Uganda Equator crossing Kayabwe for amazing photo shoots and water experiments that indicate the geographical divide between the north and southern hemispheres.
Proceed to the park, check in at the lodge, enjoy lunch and later do an afternoon game drive traversing the acacia dotted Savannah in search of wild game such as Burchell’s Zebra, Elands, Rothschild Giraffes, Impalas, Topis, Buffaloes among others. The views of the Savannah at the sunset are also exciting.

Lake Mburo National Park – Uganda’s smallest Savannah park presents an exciting game walking safari in its moist Savannah landscapes.
The walk covers interesting sections of the park and offers an opportunity to view wild game on foot which gives a chance to get close to wildlife compared to if traveling in a vehicle.
This activity presents more possibilities of citing Impala, Burchell’s Zebra, Rothschild giraffes, Topis, Warthogs, water-bucks, bush-bucks, Cape Buffaloes, Klipspringer, Elands among others.
From the activity, drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park making a traditional lunch stop en route at the famous Igongo Cultural Center.

It’s a great day dedicated for an adventure encounter with the endangered Mountain Gorillas. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest marked with dense forests, rugged terrain with steep hills and narrow valleys is home to a minimum of 400 Mountain Gorillas thriving in this flourishing natural habitat.
The trek commences at 8am from the respective tracking point, go through briefing and later head to the forest in search of these amazing Great Ape species.
The trek lasts 2 – 8 hours with one hour of actual gorilla viewing. Enjoy the interpretation from the ranger guide and feel free to take photos (Camera flash off). Return from the activity and slope down to Lake Bunyonyi making enjoying incredible views of the fascinating Kigezi Highlands and the overlooking Virunga Volcanoes.
Spend the evening relaxing at Lake Bunyonyi and do a boat ride to explore this amazing scenic lake (2nd deepest in Africa) with a range of 29 Islands.
