3 Days Rwanda Gorilla Safari: Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Kigali, Ruhengeri Province
On arrival at Kanombe-Kigali International Airport, you will meet our guide and then take Kigali city excursion to Rwanda Memorial Genocide center and Karisoke Gorilla Research Center. Accommodation: where we shall have our dinner and overnight at the Gorilla nest or Kinigi guest House. Meal plan: Half-Board.
Day 2: Volcanoes National Park
Drive for half a kilometer after our breakfast to head quarters for briefing from park officials and then enter into the jungle to search for the shy mountain endangered gorillas.
Inevitable requirements like hut, insect repellent, sun screen, rain gear, packed lunch, walk-able shoes, and bottled water are must, as are other tools that one may need once in the tropical rain forest.
Accommodation: Return to lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: Full-Board.
Day 3: Golden Monkey Trekking & Kigali city
From morning breakfast, trek Golden Monkeys in Volcanoes National Park. Then return to the lodge for your lunch and later drive to Kigali with an en-route city tour to board your flight back home or for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: Half-Board and end of services.
