3 days Congo Gorilla Trekking Safari Tour is a 2nights/3day Gorilla tour Congo trip to see the amazing Mountain Gorillas which are the World’s critically endangered species in the dense forest tract of Virunga National Park.
Congo’s Virunga National Park is part of the greater Virunga Massif which has over 480 Mountain Gorillas more than half of the World’s critically endangered Mountain Gorillas.
The 3 days Congo gorilla safari can start and end in Uganda or start and end in Kigali Rwanda.

3 Days Congo Gorilla Trekking Safari Tour – Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Transfer from Kampala / Kigali to Kisoro / Virunga National Park
After breakfast, you team up with the driver guide to embark on the drive from Kampala to Kisoro driving 505km about 10 hours drive.
The drive exposes you to impressive countryside landscapes including the Uganda Equator crossing at Kayabwe where the geographical separation between the North and Southern Hemispheres can be evidenced amidst impressive photo shoots.
A lunch stop will be made at Igongo Cultural Center 12km to Mbarara town after which you proceed to Kisoro enjoying the amazing scenery of Kigezi Highlands. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2 : Undertake Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Virunga National Park & Transfer to Kisoro / Gisenyi
Drive to the border of Bunagana and connect to Virunga National Park in the Democratic Republic of Congo to undertake Mountain Gorilla Trekking.
Gather with other trekkers at Kibati Patrol post or any other location identified by the park staff for a briefing and eventual gorilla trekking.
The direct gorilla viewing time is limited to one hour for purposes of conservation but this is pretty enough time to view the Mountain Gorillas in their natural habitats, viewing the gentle giants foraging and socializing and great picturesque opportunities. Retire from the activity and drive back to Kisoro for an afternoon relaxation

Day 3: Transfer Back to Kampala / Kigali
