From your place of stay in Kigali after breakfast, connect on the drive to Kahuzi Biega National Park driving through the Southern Province of Rwanda with magical hillside scenery. A stop will be made at Nyanza Palace to explore the heritage of the ancient Royal Monarchy of Rwanda. The site offers remarkable sights of a traditional architectural hut named Rukaari, the Inyambo cows with their beautiful longhorns, and the Intore dancers that offer very exciting performances. Proceed to make a lunch stop in Butare and then transfer to Bukavu Congo crossing via the Cyangungu border post arriving in the evening for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Following breakfast, you set off for the adventure of Eastern Lowland Gorilla Tracking in the dense forest of Kahuzi Biega National Park. The Eastern Lowland Gorillas are considered the largest of all gorilla subspecies marked by the stocky body, short muzzle, and large hands. This offers an opportunity to explore these gorilla subspecies which are different from the commonly encountered Mountain Gorillas. The trek to the Eastern Lowland gorillas lasts about four (4) hours in the company of the park staff. In the afternoon, you undertake a sightseeing tour to Tshibati Falls.
