The project which seeks to bring together mountain hiking adventure tour activities in East Africa into a single tourism product, covers the destinations of Mount Karisimbi in Rwanda, Mount Stanley and Mount Speke in Uganda, Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Mount Kenya and Mount Meru in Kenya and then famous Nyiragongo Volcano in the neighbouring Democratic Republic of Congo.

The launch ceremony which was honoured by a range of stake holders including those from Rwanda Development Board, Tour operators, media and Mountain hikers on Rwanda safari commemorated the beginning of this new product.
