The Rwanda Development Board called upon the investors to explore the range of investment opportunities more especially in the Kivu belt popular for Rwanda Safaris and tours.
The country is committed to offering favourable business and investment climate including developing the required infrastructure like water supply, roads and electricity.
The main opportunities for investment include; an entertainment and leisure complex in Rubavu, hot spring eco-tourism resort for the Rwanda safari holiday undertakers in Rubavu peninsular, a five-star golf resort and residential villas along with Ecolodge on Gihaya Island, a tourism center and premium boutique hotel in Rusizi not forgetting the completion of a five-star conference and leisure hotel in the district of Rusizi. The mentioned projects are at an estimate value of $50 to $152 million.
The western province of Rwanda is close to the Volcanoes National Park the main destination for gorilla trekking safaris in Rwanda, the volcano climbing adventure, golden monkey tracking and Dian Fossey hike and thus establishing such recreational resorts will definitely offer the much needed refreshment following these challenging energetic adventure activities.
Lake Kivu, noted to be among the great lakes of Africa is marked by incredible scenery, ideal weather, loveliest Islands and extensive shoreline which if well developed can be a heaven on earth resort destination and form a rich base for vacation safari holidays in Rwanda Africa.
