Uganda Tours – Uganda Gorillas, Wildlife Tour

This tour embarks on Uganda’s primates. In Kibale Forest, you will go for chimpanzee tracking in the tropical rainforest. From Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will take game drives, boat trip and chimpanzee tracking. Finally in Bwindi Forest, you will come to face with the great primates: endangered mountain gorillas.

Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival
when you arrive, you will be picked up from the Airport and you will meet our great Safari Guide.You will be transfered to the hotel for overnight in Entebbe. Dinner and overnight at Windsor, Lake Victoria Entebbe

Day 2: Entebbe to Bwindi
Very early in the morning you will be taken to Entebbe south-west and across the equator. The drive will take you through savannah grasslands watching banana plantations and herds of Ankole cattle with their fabulous long curving horns. You then ascend into the beautiful Kigezi highlands with terraced farming and mountain scenery and drive through to Bwindi. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Resort or Buhoma Community Bandas (FB)

Day 3: Gorilla trekking
You will enter the sanctuary at dawn and have pleasure at the home of the mountain gorillas and beauty freshness of the forest, home of the mountain gorillas. After a crumb briefing by the experienced guides, you will proceed through dense bush to trek for these harmed animals called the great Apes (Gorillas). Other primates also live in the forest including the red tail monkey, chimpanzee and black-and-white colobus monkey. Return for accommodation or have an optional community walk.for relaxation or have Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Resort or Buhoma Community Bandas (FB)

Day 4: Enroute to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After  having breakfast you will enroute to Queen Elizabeth National Park which is located at the foot of the Rwenzori Mountains, covering over 200 sq km of Rift Valley Savanna, interspersed with patches of forest and crater lakes thus an thought for a safari. At your arrival, carry out a launch trip along the Kazinga Channel. You will examine the concentration of crocodiles, water birds and hippos which is so amazing. The bird species are the black bee- eater, 11 types of king fisher, and several species of falcons, eagles and the raptors and many more. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge /Jacana Safari Lodge / Institute of Ecology (FB)

Day 5: Game drive and Chimpanzee tracking
An early morning game drive in the Park will take place so as to see wildlife like Uganda Kobs, spOtted, hyenas, leopard, elephants, lions, plus many others. In the afternoon you will proceed to Kyambura gorge for the chimpanzee trekking. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge /Jacana Safari Lodge / Institute of Ecology (FB)

Day 6: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After returning back from Bwindi forest to Kibale National Park, you will have Lunch enroute. On your arrival, you will then have a Bigodi Swamp walk in bid to view the birds and monkeys that live in the the swamp. You will then be transfered to Ndali lodge or Primates Lodge on a full board basis to have an overnight.

Day 7: Chimpanzee Trekking
You will be taken to Kanyanchu headquarters for briefing before you head for our chimpanzee tracking after having an early breakfast. You will also pay a visit to the forest to track chimpanzees. The forest also inhabits 12 other primates which you will view when given enough time such as baboons, vervet monkeys and grey cheeked mangabeys. Dinner and overnight at Ndali Lodge or Primate Lodge (FB)

Day 8: Departure
After breakfast we depart for Kampala with a packed lunch and arrive during the late afternoonbook-now-wildgorilla
