Prime Uganda Safaris & Tours Ltd is a member of different organizations and they include the following

UGANDA WILDLIFE AUTHORITY (UWA)

Uganda Wildlife Authority is a government body in charge preserving, conserving and managing different wildlife in Uganda and the 10 National Parks and 12 wildlife reserves. The head office is located on Kirra Road Kamwokya near the Uganda Museum. It is in charge of entrance fees for different parks and all the activities done in the park. UWA is also in charge of issuing gorilla permits for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Queen Elizabeth National Park, they also issue chimpanzee permits for Kibale Forest National Park and Queen Elizabeth National Park and helps simplify tracking in different parks.

ASSOCIATION OF UGANDA TOUR OPERATORS (AUTO)

This is an organization that combines all registered tour operators in Uganda. Once registered with AUTO, tour operators are always able to access chimpanzee and gorilla permits in UWA. Registration in AUTO needs qualifications including tourism papers, recommendations, safari vehicles, qualified staff and so many others.

UGANDA TOURISM BOARD (UTB)

This board is in charge of ensuring that Tour operators give tourists the best Uganda safari experience. This government owned organization works hand in hand with the Association of Uganda Tour operators and Uganda Wildlife Association to help market Uganda as a top tourist destination. The board organizes tourism exhibitions where tourists expose their attractions and all what Uganda has so that people outside Uganda can see them hence attracting them to have safaris to Uganda.

  FRIEND A GORILLA

This is an organization based in conserving the mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. This is done through marketing gorilla tourism and also educating the local people about tourism, this also done with the help of AUTO. You can as well help conserve gorillas by being a friend to gorillas and you will be getting information about them.

UGANDA SAFARI GUIDES ASSOCIATION (USGA)

This association is embraced by the ministry of Tourism for training the best safari guides in Uganda. With the knowledge our safari guides got from Uganda Safari Guides Association, our tourists always get good information about wildlife animals, reserves and the historical sites in Uganda. Our guides can also drive well therefore serving comfortable journeys to tourists while on their Uganda safaris.
