Rediscover the Pearl
Uganda is hosting her pearl of Africa Tourism Expo (POATE) from 23rd to 25th February 2018 under the theme ‘Rediscover the Pearl’.
POATE is a unique opportunity for tourism businesses to meet new clients, network, and market their services and products.
It is also a unique opportunity for prime Uganda safaris to meet new suppliers, build and strengthen their networks.
Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) says that the main aim of this year’s Expo is to expose Ugandans to the wide variety of tourism attractions in the country.
Ugandans are encouraged to visit the expo and see for themselves what travel offers are available especially as we plan for the Easter break.
It is going to be a great chance for foreign firms to network with the local firms and get a chance to understand Uganda’s diverse attractions that their buyers in source market might be interested in.
This expo has attracted many representatives from both Uganda and international business from East Africa, different parts of Africa, North America, Europe, Australia and Asia.
Ugandans and nonresidents also have an opportunity to see the tourism products, services and attractions such as Gorilla trekking safari in Uganda/Uganda gorilla safaris/Chimpanzee trekking safaris information, Various National parks information, and the best places where you can spend your Easter season this year that are available in the pearl of Africa.
Besides the exhibition, there will be children’s play area, school’s corner, and adventure corner with quad bikes, horse rides, mini zoo and many others.
This expo is believed as such a platform to position Uganda as a leading tourist destination to attract benefits from a sector that is the biggest foreign exchange earner.
Therefore, if you are to be in Uganda between 23rd to 25th February for any Uganda safari tour, such Gorilla trekking in Uganda Bwindi impenetrable forest, mountain hiking, Kampala city tour and others make it a point to pass by the Sheraton Kampala Hotel Gardens and be part of the Expo and please come with a friend.
