5 days’ safari to Lake Mburo National Park and Queen Elizabeth National Park starts and ends in Kampala. The safari takes you to Lake Mburo National Park which is located between Mbarara and Masaka in Western Uganda, since it is the only park that contains an entire lake and is located in rolling hills and open grassy valleys. The Park has Pangolin, Warthog, Hyena, Leopard, Buffalo, Civet, Genet, Topi, Eland, Klipspringer, Oribi, Sitatunga, Impala, eland and crocodile Aardvark, Hyrax, Porcupine, Hippopotamus and Zebra. There is plenty of water and acacia savannah bird species (357 bird species) such as , bee eaters and even more exotic birds like Blue Naped Coucal crested crane, the rare shoebill stork, marabou stork and bronze-tailed starling. This lake supports a wonderful diversity of birds. From Lake Mburo National Park, you will head for Queen Elizabeth National Park in the West of Uganda where one will have a view of the Pearl of Africa with its game and bird life. Due to different habitats, the lakeshore, the variety seems infinity. Have a glimpse of water birds diving for fish as well as the majestic Crowned Crane. Bare-faced Go-Away Bird, Nubian Woodpecker and swamp flycatcher.

Day 1 of 5 Days Uganda Wildlife Safari to Lake Mburo and Queen Elizabeth National Parks: Kampala – Lake Mburo National Park
M You will set off to Lake Mburo National Park by road from Kampala which is approximately 3-4 hours (230km) to the park head quarters. Along the way you will find Mpambire Drum shop and the Equator and the Lake Mburo Heritage Village, which are places of interests to tourists. You will have lunch at the park and after go for a boat trip on Lake Mburo to view bird and animal life at the banks. You will have dinner and an overnight at Mantana Tented Camp or Rwonyo camp.
Day 2 of 5 Days Uganda Wildlife Safari to Lake Mburo and Queen Elizabeth National Parks: Game viewing in Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, you will go for game viewing which is the major tourist activity in this Park, being famous for its richness in biodiversity. It has an estimate of 68 different species of mammals such as Topi, Impala, Zebra, Buffalo, Eland, Roan antelope and leopard, Hyenas and jackals. After the view, have an enroute lunch while proceeding to Queen Elizabeth National Park to have a glimpse of the animal and bird life that is found in the park. You will have dinner and an overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge or Institute of Ecology (FB).
Day 3 of 5 Days Uganda Wildlife Safari to Lake Mburo and Queen Elizabeth National Parks: Game viewing and Launch cruise in Queen Park
you enjoy the wide bio-diversity of habitats that Queen Elizabeth National Park contains- nearly 100 types of mammal and 600 diverse birds this morning. Some of the wildlife is delightfully horned Uganda Kob, extraordinary aquatic sitatunga antelope, Topi, waterbuck, elephant, leopard warthogs, oversized forest hog and buffalo. After the game drive for late breakfast and lunch at the lodge, After Lunch having, you will have a launch cruise on the Kazinga channel that joins Lakes Edward and George. Kazinga Channel alone is said to contain the world’s largest concentration of hippos and plenty of water birds unfortunately not enough crocodiles. Day 4 of 5 Days Uganda Wildlife Safari to Lake Mburo and Queen Elizabeth National Parks: Chimpanzee tracking and Maramagambo
You will like Mangabeys, Colobus monkeys. Kyambura Gorge on the north-east boundary of the park is a real Tarzan terrain with thick treetop canopies and vines floppy down to the soft forest floor. The territory comes complete with chimpanzees that crash about and babble high up in the branches. They hide or give a step ahead of the unwanted visitors in case they do not like to be visible.
After you will have a picnic lunch and a forest walk, after being transferred to the Maramagambo forest, south of the Kazinga channel. You will be able to view a large number of chimps and other monkey species. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge or Institute of Ecology (FB).
