Day 1: Arrival – Parc Nationale Des Volcanoes
At arrival you will be picked from the airport by our company representative who will transfer you toParc Nationale des Volcanoes, dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking
You will drive to the park headquarters after breakfast, where you will meet the ranger guides. You will begin the search of mountain Gorillas after the briefing. The trek can be quite tough that it takes a lot of time about 2-8 hours. If time allows, after the trekking, have lunch at Ruhengeri and an excursion to explore the beautiful lakes in the region (LakeBulera & Ruhondo). Dinner and Overnight at the lodge
Day 3 and 4: Hiking the Karisimbi
You will go for a 2 day volcano hiking after taking breakfast on Karisimbi which refers to its often white-capped summit. Dinner and overnight camping at an altitude of 3,800 m. The second day reaches the summit and climb down, return for dinner and overnight at your lodge
Day 5: city tour-departure
Havind had breakfast, you will drive to Kigali and you will go for a city tour. After the tour, you will have lunch and be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
