You set off from the hotel in Arusha after breakfast and embark on the drive to Ngorongoro Crater 190km about 2 ½ hour’s drive enjoying the beautiful countryside including lush plains and rift valley escarpments. You arrive in Ngorongoro and settle for lunch. In the afternoon, you embark on the crater exploration. Ngorongoro Crater comes along with amazing scenery and concentration of wild game. Listed among the Natural Wonders of the world, the crater has an elevation of 4500m – 5800m, the depth of 610m and width extension of 260km2 noted to have formed about 3 million years ago when a big volcano erupted and collapsed on itself.
