Day 1 of the 10 Days Tanzania Safari Itinerary: Arrival in Tanzania

Upon arrival at the airport, you are met by the representative for a meet and greet session after which you will drive to Arusha for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 2of the 10 Days Tanzania Safari Itinerary: Drive to Lake Manyara National Park for an afternoon game drive

Following the morning breakfast, you embark on the transfer to the North Arusha plains for birding walks searching for dry country species. After this, you proceed to Lake Manyara National Park to arrive in the afternoon. The afternoon game drive offers possibilities of viewing a myriad of wild game including the tree-climbing lions, the Wildebeest, Giraffes, and 400 bird species like Flamingoes, cormorants, pelicans along with storks. The park features Migratory birds in November and April.

Day 3 of the 10 Days Tanzania Safari Itinerary: Drive to Serengeti National Park

Following breakfast, you embark on the birding transfer to Serengeti National Park arriving in the evening. The varieties of bird species include; Guinea Fowls, Sand grouses and Red-necked Francolins can be explored on the way to the lodge.

An early morning bird walk offers possibilities of viewing Tanzanian endemics in Serengeti Park namely; Grey-breasted Spurfowl and Fischer’s Lovebird. Return for breakfast at the lodge after which you set out for a long day birding experience and wild game viewing. The 500 species of birds are all over for searching and exploration including Grey-capped social weaver, Usambiro Barbets along with Kori Bustard and Secretary Bird.

The beautiful Kopjes and open savannah offer impressive scenic views of the Serengeti landscape.

Day 6 of the 10 Days Tanzania Safari Itinerary: Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area & do a crater tour in the afternoon

Following breakfast, embark on the transfer to Ngorongoro crater to gain possibilities of exploring the endemic Rufous-tailed weaver. Other birding possibilities include viewing; lesser and greater flamingos on Magadi Soda Lake on the floor of the crater, the golden-winged Sunbird, and a range of raptors like Wahlberg’s Eagle and Tawny Eagle may be explored.
